We will be following the British Cycling guidance for non-competitive events.
It is likely that this guidance will change/relax by the time of the Autumn events, but to give potential participants an idea of how the event will run here are some of the measures we are preparing for:
We plan to send out rider numbers by post before the event. This will avoid large groups waiting to collect numbers on the day.
Individual and small group starts with no briefing on the line. We may issue you with a start time and ask that you don't congregate near the start but instead just turn up and ride off.
As much as possible these will be outdoors and offer pre-prepared sealed bags of food plus a 500ml bottle of water - all self-serve.
Medals (if offered on the event) will be laid out for you to collect.
Free food at end (if offered on the event) - this may not be possible unless guidelines change.
Staff and volunteers will not attend if they suspect they have Covid symptoms.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the start HQ and food stops.
First Aiders will have masks and rubber gloves.
We'll keep entrants informed of what measures will be in place for the event.
