We continue to prepare for a Covid safe event along these lines:
We plan to send out rider numbers by post before the event. This will avoid large groups waiting to collect numbers on the day.
No startline - instead Rideventures staff (all in blue reflective vests) will note down your handlebar number whilst you are preparing in the car park - then you're free to start straightaway (measure intended to avoid crowds gathering at a startline)
As much as possible these will offer pre-prepared bags of food plus self-serve water. Weather permitting Food Stops will be outdoor, or if indoor in well ventilated halls. Plenty of hand cleaner will be available
Medals (if offered on the event) will be laid out for you to collect.
Staff and volunteers will not attend if they suspect they have Covid symptoms.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the start HQ and food stops.
First Aiders will have masks and rubber gloves.
We'll keep entrants informed of what measures will be in place for the event.
